The SCANDINAF Furako 200PBG is a wood-fired outdoor soaking tub for 4-6 people, built around a smooth primary polyethylene shell and a stainless steel heating system for relaxed year-round bathing.
The shell is made from primary food-grade polyethylene using rotational molding. This process creates a seamless bowl without internal stress, giving the tub a lightweight, practical, and durable bathing surface for outdoor use.
The wood-fired stove is made from 3 mm stainless steel and uses a water-jacket heating principle with bottom combustion, allowing the water to reach a comfortable soaking temperature efficiently. A drain valve at the base helps with water removal, and the protected sandwich chimney reduces contact risk while helping control sparks, ash, and precipitation.
The rim board, seats, and ladder are made from thermowood, which handles moisture and temperature changes well without drying out or rotting. The support structure uses profile steel tubing with a high load reserve for the tub, water, and bathers.

We installed it at a small guesthouse and guests mention it often. The vessel is comfortable for two adults with space to spare. Only reason for 4 stars is that the first firing took some trial and error, but after that it became easy.

Thank you, Claire. That is fair feedback. The first heating cycle usually has a short learning curve, especially in hospitality use, but it becomes much more intuitive after a few rounds.
The wood-fired soak has been excellent for evening use. Heating takes a bit of planning, but once it is ready the experience is calm and very consistent. Brown cabinet finish looks great next to cedar decking.
